Helping To Build A Hunger-Free Community

The Rhinelander Area Community Garden (which is part of RAFP) works in cooperation with Master Gardeners of the North to provide fresh, nutritious produce for families in need.

RACG raises about 5,000 pounds of fresh produce annually for the pantry. However, more volunteers are needed to continue this effort. Gardening experience is not necessary.

Experienced gardeners will be at the gardens on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM to coordinate activities and answer questions. Volunteers may schedule one hour or more per week.

To volunteer, come to the garden at the times indicated or contact Tom Jerow at 715-369-6875 (tjerow@gmail.com).

Garden Locations: Phoenix Villa at 1011 Thayer Street, Rhinelander, plus the greenhouse at the pantry at 627 Coon Street.
