The annual Rhinelander Area Food Pantry event where competing community teams design and build structures out of food. A unique way to help feed the hungry in our community, by using canned or boxed food to build structures based on a theme. Structures are judged and on display at Rouman Cinema for two weeks. HARVEST HOEDOWN - Saturday, October 1, 2016 at The Woodpecker Bar and Grill. The third annual fall-themed event featuring live music, line dancing, horse-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin patch, handmade crafts, homemade baked goods, craft and Packer ticket raffles, pig roast and other food and fun activities for the entire family. Admission is free and open to the public - all proceeds will benefit the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry and NATH/Frederick Place shelter.
RAFP SPRING CHALLENGE
The Pantry challenges folks to donate during March and April. An anonymous donor will match all food and financial donations made during those months at the 1% level. [for more go to pdf]

BOY SCOUT and POST OFFICE FOOD DRIVES APRIL and MAY
Food donation bags are placed on/in doors or mailboxes. Filled bags are picked up and then delivered to the Pantry.
STUFF the TRUCK (Trig's)
This fantastic food drive at Trig's locations helps the pantries in each town keep food on the shelves. This year over 1,100 pounds of food was donated.
EMPTY BOWL EVENT Nicolet College
Sponsored jointly by the Nicolet College Art Department and the Faculty Association. Participants pay $15 for a ceramic bowl, handmade and donated by local artisans, and a choice of soups prepared and donated by Nicolet College Culinary Art students. Proceeds are divided among area pantries.
